Whirlpool

The only way out is in

Move in

Only when you realise there is nowhere to go

Nowhere to move on

It is all there is

You realise perhaps you didn’t need to do it alone

You could have shared it

The beauty of the shared experience

It is all there is

What moves us

It

It moves

Writing moves her away

Sometimes

To the place where lonely feels safe

Where lonely doesn’t feel alone

It moves her in

To the knowing that

The only way out is in

Where does it begin where does it end

It is everything and nothing

It was always here

It is always now

And now and now and now

It is all there is

Just move it.

The paradox of loneliness

She realises she must write to know and she cannot experience fully when she is writing

She lets go of her writing to experience again

Maybe she knew all along it might stop her from living

Rereading herself it seems she had already found out through writing

The more she thinks about words and the universes of misinterpretations unfolding, the more lonely and misunderstood she feels

Maybe that’s why a part of her doesn’t want to let her write

Why it stiffens her neck and makes her feel the weight of her own head

Why it twists her spine when she doesn’t listen

A part resists to protect her

So that she doesn’t find out how lonely it feels?

The paradox of it is not lost on her

When she feels both connected and alone

When does it start when does it end

It is always now

It is all there is

All alone
