Writing for knowing

It can be hard to know what you already know.

To take the time to pause and let everything sink in.

In the race of life, busying oneself one task after another, getting a sense of worth through movement.

Breathing helps finding realignment.

Listening to the white noise, closing one’s eyes and observing the shift in colours and patterns.

When we rush, we forget what’s the most essential.

‘What’s the plan’, they ask?

‘I don’t know’, she says. ‘We shall see’, half trying to convince herself that she is comfortable with not knowing, dealing with their inner doubts as well as hers.

Bird by Bird

Entering the good habit and practice of writing every day

Talking about the truth and starting somewhere

Childhood as starting point for life and writing

Writing will help unravel some of the childhood dragon

Writing as a way to become

More centred, authentic and aligned with values

Writing as a way of living

Being inspired through the work of other writers

Without the comparing leading to a place of judgement

Reading poetry to demystify what poetry can look like

Enjoying the ride!

Writing

Writing as a liberation

Writing for the pure joy of it

Writing as an expression of oneself

Writing because it feels good

Writing as an act of self-love

Writing as an articulation of one’s thoughts

Writing as an expansion of one’s soul

Sharing as a threat to all of the above.
